Johan du Toit SC

Johan is a Senior Advocate of the Johannesburg Bar and a Barrister of the Middle Temple, London. He worked as an attorney from 1979 to 1984, has been an advocate since 1984 and was awarded silk in 2006. On occasion he has served as an acting judge. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (SA and UK); a non-executive director of Imisebe Yethemba, an NPO serving the Alexandra community; and a non-executive director of Seraphim Financial Services (derivative traders).

He is the chairman of the Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee and a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee.
