Hearing roll: Mr Jacques Wessels

The SAICA Disciplinary Committee will convene in terms of SAICA By-Law 20.2.2 to note the Findings and Sanction imposed upon Mr Jacques de Villiers by the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (the IRBA). Mr Jacques de Villiers is deemed to have been found guilty of an offence as contemplated in SAICA By-Law 35.1 in that he was found guilty by the Disciplinary Committee of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) of contraventions of the Auditing Profession Act, 26 of 2005; the Code of Professional Conduct and/or the Rules Regarding Improper Conduct prescribed by the IRBA.
