This Update overviews new relevant National laws up to 8 July 2022. The Big 5 in this Update includes: (i) The Labour Relations Act: Code of good practice (Managing exposure to Sars-Cov-2 in the workplace); (ii) The National Environmental Laws Amendment Act 2022 (Not commenced); (iii) The National Environmental Management Act (Draft prior informed consent procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade); (iv) The Pension Funds Act (Asset spreading requirements); and (v) The Special Investigating units and Special Tribunals Act (Investigations).
