Tax Consultant & Accountant

A well established consulting firm in Fish Hoek is looking to add to their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity awaits the candidate who will be required to provide tax compliance and advisory support to clients, ensure accurate and timely submissions of tax returns for individuals and companies, prepare annual financial statements, keep up to date with changes in tax and accounting legislation, along with other related duties.

The right candidate must have a solid understanding of South African companies and tax legislation and SARS processes, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while ensuring a high attention to detail and accuracy. They must be a team player with a willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications required are a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in a professional environment. Experience with SARS eFiling, E@syFile, and Draftworx is advantageous.
