Additional handouts for printing and use in ITC Exams in 2024:

SAICA has granted an approval for the ITC 2024 candidates (January or June 2024) to print the following additional handouts to bring in the ITC exam venues in 2024:

Candidates must please note the following:

  • Only the attached additional handout printed on the official SAICA letterhead will be allowed into the exam room.
  • Candidates must print the SAICA handout and have it bound/stapled.
  • No loose pages related to the handout will be permitted inside the exam venue.
  • All SAICA rules that apply to the official handbooks allowed in the exam venue will also apply to the additional handout.
  • Candidates may make use of the additional handout during the completion of the academic programme, such as the PGDA (CTA) and subsequently use the same handout for the 2024 ITC examinations.

For the SAICA Code of Professional Conduct, Candidates must please note:

  • The SAICA Code of Professional Conduct was amended at the end of 2022 and therefore has been correctly included in the 2022/2023 SAICA Handbook, however this amendment is not included in the 2021/2022 SAICA Handbook and earlier versions. This may affect some candidates who are currently using the ‘older’ version of the SAICA Handbook. Therefore, only those candidates who do not have the new handbook (2022/2023) may choose to print the amended SAICA Code. Candidates may also choose to print less than the 207 pages – by completely excluding the printing of SAICA Code Part 4B – Independence for Assurance Engagements other than Audit and Review Engagements (pages 179-207), which is not examinable on the SAICA ITC examinations.
