With over forty years-experience as a CA(SA), Mark has served as a Registered Auditor (RA) on listed clients, before becoming CEO of BDO SA. Thereafter he was appointed as the Africa representative on the EMEA board of BDO and has taken on the role of Regional Director of Africa, for BDO, with a focus on overseeing and strengthening the Africa network. While he is no longer a practicing RA, he is currently a Non-Executive Director on a couple of boards and serve as a trustee of charitable and family trusts, and as an executor for deceased estates.
