Melissa Hempel

Melissa is a senior manager at PwC and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). She is an active contributor to the accounting standard setting process through her participation in the Generally Recognised Accounting Practice (GRAP) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) working groups. She focuses on public sector financial reporting frameworks and the related controls, with a view to improving public sector efficiencies and accountability and is passionate about upskilling individuals working in the public sector and continuously improving public sector financial reporting capabilities.
