Shafidda Andrews

Shaffida was recently appointed as the Chief Director Financial Management at the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works (WCDT&PW). She completed her articles with PKF Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, focusing on medium-sized business, and subsequently joined the AGSA.

It was at the AGSA where she understood the challenges faced by public sector officials and the difference she could make in people’s lives by doing what she loved. Working with people that are passionate about what they do and determined to make a positive impact on the lives of citizens, she then decided she wanted to make a change and joined the DT&PW as a financial manager where two years later she was appointed as Director in Supply Chain Management where there is truly never a dull moment.
