SAICA Board Vacancies

In anticipation of the annual prescribed board rotation, applications are open for candidates to fill three positions on the SAICA Board.

SAICA therefore invites non-Chartered Accountants (SA) to apply, or for individuals to nominate suitably qualified candidates to serve on the SAICA Board as non-executive members.

These vacancies will result from the annual retirement by rotation of board members in May 2026 at the Annual General Meeting.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE THREE POSITIONS ARE FOR NON-CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS (SA).

All candidates must be upstanding individuals who demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and are supporters of high ethical standards.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Monday, 12 January 2026

Experience

We are seeking candidates who bring aligned senior executive and board experience to elevate our Board's effectiveness:

  • A minimum of 10 years in a senior executive role, with a track record of leadership that complements board responsibilities.
  • At least 5 years of consecutive experience as a member of a Board and its committees, demonstrating strategic insight and governance expertise.
  • A strong understanding of the latest trends, risks, and opportunities in the profession.
  • Proven ability to drive strategy, contributing to organisational success.
