Prof André Roux and Dr Gideon Botha have been commissioned by SAICA to develop a range of alternative scenarios to explore the future role of accountants in South Africa towards 2035.

These scenarios assist SAICA and its stakeholders to identify the scope and nature of the attributes and competencies that accountants will require to become and stay relevant in the years that lie ahead. The scenarios identify opportunities and how they can be leveraged in a practical fashion.
