Rehabilitation Programme

In November 2025, the SAICA Board approved amendments to the CPD-related sections of the By-laws. These amendments enable SAICA to address CPD and related non-compliance through alternative mechanisms, most notably the implementation of a Rehabilitation Programme.

The Rehabilitation Programme applies to specific cases where Members and Associates have not complied with the CPD requirements introduced in 2020 following the changes to the CPD policy. The programme provides a structured and supportive opportunity for affected Members and Associates to address their non-compliance and restore their compliance status.

Affected Members and Associates who were non-compliant during the 2020 to 2025 CPD cycles will be formally notified and invited to participate in the programme. Upon notification, they will be required to complete specified remedial actions and submit evidence of compliance within a defined period.

Members and Associates who successfully meet the requirements will have their non-compliance resolved with no further action. Those who do not participate, or fail to provide sufficient evidence, may be referred for further investigation and possible disciplinary action.
