2023 Spring conference

2023 Spring conference

Outline

SAICA is pleased to be hosting the Northern Region’s Annual Spring Conference in September this year. The Spring Conference is an opportunity for Northern Region members to network and explore topical issues. The three-day Conference will be held at Zebula Golf Estate and Spa, one of the scenic lodges of Limpopo, from Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 September 2023.

The Conference has been a very successful event for more than 10 years and was initially arranged by the Limpopo District Association Committee of SAICA. Due to its success, SAICA decided to rather arrange it on a regional level which is again the plan for 2023. The Conference has been held at various venues during its history.

The first day allows members and associates to network, including golf, spa treatments, dinner and a prize-giving. Presentations and panel discussions will be held on the Thursday and Friday, exploring various relational, business, digital and technical acumens. The Conference is open to all SAICA members and associates.

The South African Business Landscape: Thriving in the Wild

Conducting business in South Africa is becoming increasingly complex due to the ever-changing economic, political and legislative environment, the cost of living crisis, the recent announcement of the NHI, the country’s grey-listing by the Financial Action Task Force and the electricity supply crisis. This business landscape demands that business leaders master not only the art of survival, but also the art of thriving. Join us at our three-day Conference as we explore topics that will help businesses navigate unpredictable markets, external forces and high-pressure situations.
