Awards FAQ's

All finalists will be contacted by the Awards team and announced on SAICA Social Media channels.

All finalists will be required to make a presentation before the judge’s panel. Dates and time will be communicated to the finalists by the Awards team.
Awards night: SAICA will issue out communication to all the finalists about the Awards event including venues, dates and times.

Finalists are only allowed to bring one guest to the Awards event.

SAICA Members and Associates in good standing can enter the competition, per SAICA’s Awards terms and conditions.
SAICA trainees in good standing at accredited SAICA Training Offices
Students who are studying BCom Accounting at a SAICA accredited Universities

A panel of judges is selected each year and they will be announced via social media and the awards page

Judging sessions happen either face-to-face or virtually, where possible, candidates are encouraged to attend face-to-face.

A minimum of 12 judges is likely to be in the room.

All interested applicants for SAICA Awards are required to complete the entry form, send all the requested documents to be considered as a candidate.
Nominated candidates are also required to complete the entry form and send the required documents.
Nomination alone is not sufficient to be considered as an entry.

Tell us about the impact of your work, not just your duties.
Ensure your references are people who can specifically speak to the achievements mentioned in your chosen category.

There is no cost of entry for any of the SAICA Awards

No, all entries once submitted are final. No further changes can be made.
Where necessary, the Awards team will request additional information or clarity on submissions.

Yes. Please furnish relevant information for the categories
Add all the relevant categories you wish to enter under the entry form ‘Category/Categories’ section.

No further submissions will be accepted after the deadline date.
