AWCA

Empowering African Women in Accounting Founded in 2002, the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) Forum is committed to elevating African women's voices in the accounting profession. At the time, only 407 Black, Coloured, and Indian women were CAs(SA); by 2022, that number had grown to 8,588 — a powerful reflection of AWCA’s mission to Identify, Nurture, and Lead. Our partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and in empowering the next generation of leaders. With the support of volunteers, donors, and advocates, AWCA continues to grow the pipeline and uplift women throughout their professional journeys.
