Hayley Barker Hoogwerf

Hayley joined SAICA in March 2016. After completing her articles in 2009, Hayley was appointed as an assistance manager in audit and progressed to senior audit manager at Grant Thornton South Africa before joining SAICA.

At SAICA, Hayley is responsible for, amongst others, keeping members abreast with recent developments in the assurance space, providing technical support to members, stakeholder engagement (including advocating for the audit and assurance profession), thought leadership and providing secretarial support to SAICA’s audit and assurance advisory committee, namely the Assurance Guidance Committee (AGC).
