Sybrand Struwig

Sybrand is an experienced auditor, technically astute and a leader at the South African Supreme Audit Institution. Driven by his passion to innovate and enhance, he takes pride in providing the best solutions to challenges we as citizens of South Africa and people of our generation faces. As Senior Manager in the Head of Audit National office, his goals include being a positive culture shifter in our society and to striving to be a role-model for his kids, family, friends, work colleagues and fellow professionals. In addition to his primary job function at the Auditor-General of South Africa, Sybrand has been and remains an active player in working groups locally and internationally. He currently serves as a member of the SAICA Assurance Guidance Committee and SAICA Northern Region Tax sub-committee. He previously served as a member of the International Organisations of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) Working group on audit of extractive industries.
