Zakaria Kajee is the Deputy Business Unit leader of the Reporting and Methodology unit of the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) where he is responsible for providing audit policies, methodology and reporting approaches and implementation support to help auditors to perform high-quality and efficient audits. He is also responsible for the production of the AGSA general and special reports and data and analyses for AGSA engagements to communicate impactful messages relating to the lived experience of citizens.He has over 15 years experience in accounting and auditing, including leading audits of metro municipalities, municipal entities, provincial departments, public entities and SOEs.
