Dr. Terence Nombembe

Terence Nombembe qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. In 2014 he was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Accounting Science by the Walter Sisulu University and another Honorary Doctorate in Commerce by the University of Pretoria in 2025. Terence serves on boards of two listed companies (Nedbank Group Limited and Sibanye Stillwater Limited) and two non-profit companies (World Wide Fund for Nature South Africa (WWF) and Africa Health Research Institute-(AHRI)). He also serves as Vice-Chair of Council at the University of the Witwatersrand.
