Prof. Benjamin Marx

Ben has been a Professor in Auditing for over 30 years and is currently the Director of the School of Accounting at UJ. He holds a doctorate in Auditing and the professional designations of CA(SA), RA(SA) and Chartered Director. Ben has extensive practical and commercial experience serving as advisor, director and audit committee member of listed and non-listed companies. He is also recipient of the SAICA Difference Makers Award for Excellence in Education (2022) and the ABASA Presidents Transformational Impact Award in recognition for his lifelong contribution to the transformation of the accounting profession and his role as educator (2023)
