A multi-talented Chartered Accountant (SA) who also holds a master's degree in business leadership from UNISA School of Business Leadership is consistently rewarded for her success in financial management , delivering accountability , transparency and strategic impact in purpose driven environments. She is an Independent Advisor to various Government Entities and Departments and the founder CEO of Mjaji Mbatha Foundation.
Thembelihle brings more than 16 years of experience in finance and audit, an excellent reputation in the audit and PFMA Public Sector environments, she is also outstanding governance in her various roles as Chief Financial Officer in public sector entities and former CSOS Acting Chief Ombud. She is the winner of the Oliver Tambo Public Sector Leader Award of 2018, and Finalist for two categories in the Standard Bank Top women awards in 2017 (Top women in Female Public Sector Leader Award and Top Young Achiever of the Year)
Her current roles include, but not limited to, her as an Independent Audit and Risk advisor to the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) SOC Ltd, Chairperson of the Shared Services Audit committee of the Mpumalanga Office of the Premier , Banking SETA ARC member and newly appointed member of the National Public Sector Committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
