Joyce Kgonare, CA (SA) is a highly accomplished tax professional with over 20 years of experience in tax strategy, planning, compliance, and dispute resolution across sectors such as telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, and financial services. She currently serves as Senior Manager: Tax Audit, Planning & M&A at MTN Group Ltd, where she leads tax operations across Africa and the Middle East.

Joyce holds a Master’s degree in Taxation and is a registered Chartered Accountant (SA). Her career includes senior roles at Lafarge Holcim, JD Group, Hollard Insurance, and the South African Revenue Service (SARS). She is a member of the SAICA National Tax Committee and served on the MTN Retirement Fund Board of Trustees.
