Durban 3 November 2021 – Okuhle Mteshane, a grade 7 learner from Intakemazolo Combined School, took first place in the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants’ (SAICA’s) KwaZulu-Natal Grade 7 Economic & Management Sciences (EMS) quiz.

Johannesburg, 3 November 2021 – The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) wishes to inform its members and the public of the official announcement by the IFRS foundation on 3 November 2021 of its formation of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

The chartered accountancy profession must use its position of trust to act on tackling the challenges of the recovery after Covid-19 and on building towards a sustainable future. This was the call from an event with panelists across the world, held to launch results of a survey into international business leaders’ trust in chartered accountants.
