Congratulations to Keshni Kuni CA(SA) for her appointment as a member of the Financial Instruments Consultative Group

The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) would like to congratulate Keshni Kuni CA(SA) for her appointment as a member of the Financial Instruments Consultative Group (FICG).

The FICG is a newly established group to support the International Accounting Standards Board’s (IASB) projects related to financial instruments by providing specialist technical knowledge and practical insights.

The group will: 

• advise the IASB on projects related to accounting for financial instruments; 
• provide specialist input to supplement consultations with the Global Preparers Forum and the Capital Markets Advisory Committee; and
• improve the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of IASB technical consultations through regular public meetings. 

Ms Kuni is also a member of the IASB ‘s Global Preparers Forum and member of the SAICA Accounting Practices Committee (APC).
