Taryn Woodbridge CA(SA) didn’t just slide into the driver’s seat as CFO of Mercedes-Benz South Africa Limited (MBSA), it came with pure hard work − years of building expertise, identifying and solving gaps and becoming the trusted ‘go to person’. And when, three years ago, it was time to appoint a new CFO (which to date had always been an expat from Germany), Taryn’s leadership blazed like a bright light. It felt both natural and necessary that she step into this position.
