SAICA congratulates Agnes Dire CA(SA) on her appointment as CEO of SNG Grant Thornton

Johannesburg, 24 April 2026 - The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) congratulates Agnes Dire CA(SA) on her appointment as Chief Executive Officer of SNG Grant Thornton, effective 1 July 2026.

Agnes currently serves as Chairperson of the Board and National Leader for General Assurance at SNG Grant Thornton, and brings a wealth of experience spanning the financial services sector; including banking, asset management, and treasury; to her new role. Furthermore, she is also an active member of the SAICA Banking Project Group, where she provides valuable sector expertise and supports thought leadership within the profession.
