Following from the SAICA CEO’s communication dated 23 December 2021 to candidates regarding the revised way forward for the 1 December 2021 APC, SAICA confirms certain key details regarding the December 2021 APC rewrite.

CEO optimism for 2022 is a slightly higher than the 76% optimism level from a year ago and 54 points higher than 2020, when more than half (53%) of CEOs predicted a declining economy. These are findings from PwC’s 25th Annual Global CEO Survey, which polled 4,446 CEOs in 89 countries and territories between October and November 2021.

The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) confirms that it will investigate all members implicated in the Zondo Commission Report including Ms. Yakhe Kwinana as recommended in part 1 of the report.
